What The Meadows Is

The Meadows, which is also known as our Residential Care neighborhood, goes back to our founding in 1971 as a rest home. Today, it’s recognized as a Level IV Rest Home, which allows seniors who need a little assistance to enjoy a comfortable, happy and secure life with everything that matters.

What The Meadows Is Not

Rest Homes are often confused with Nursing Homes (or skilled nursing facilities), but the two are different in three very important ways:

  1. The Meadows provides Independent Living and Assisted Living with a customized range of 24-hour care services that help you age in place for as long as possible.
  2. The Meadows does not provide skilled nursing care.
  3. Instead, we work with you to make sure you get the care you need until skilled care becomes absolutely necessary. Even then, we work with you and your family or partner to help you find a solution that meets your needs. We have strong connections in the medical community and have been very successful at finding creative solutions to help our residents find top-quality care that meets their needs.
